Job Description:

Position Overview

IT Business Analyst position working directly with the customer to transform business requirements into IT solutions.


Candidate will be responsible to gather customer requirements, prepare and manage detailed functional specifications, work with developers to ensure the solution meets business needs, and facilitate testing including managing test issues

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

The candidate will have performed the Business Analyst role (with responsibilities as described) for IT projects and have the following skills/experience:

  • BS/BA or higher in related field
  • Minimum of five years of successful experience in related field
  • Experience in Extract Transfer Load processes from Internal and External sources
  • Expert Knowledge of the Large Gas Turbine Market Trends and ability to perform Data Analysis
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle SQL and Apex
  • Expert level experience working on Agile Scrum projects
  • Ability to translate business requirements into Agile stories
  • Familiar with Information Security procedures
  • Experience with global project teams including including working directly with offshore resources
  • Self-directed and able to work with challenging customers
  • Flexibility to adjust and thrive in an environment with changing requirements, schedules and priorities for multiple projects or assignments
  • Extremely well-organized and detail-oriented
  • Strong communication skills (verbal, written and presentation)
  • Proficiency in technologies such as SharePoint, Microsoft Office, Visio and Jira
