Finance Development Director - Western Zone

 

*This position can be located in any major city in the Western U.S.*

 

POSITION OVERVIEW

 

Supports Siemens Laboratory Diagnostics and POC Sales Regions from a financing perspective for an annual book of business worth $350m - $400m. Position strives to drive profitable growth and customer retention through creative leasing and financing solutions across all customer business segments (i.e., IDNs, large, medium and small hospitals).

 

This is a high level finance position reporting to the V.P. Field Finance and Business Operations with a strong partnership to the Sales Region VPs. The incumbent will interact with many organizational layers and company disciplines: Sales, Business Management, Corporate Accounts, Contracting Services, Siemens Financial Services, etc.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

1. Drive profitable growth through direct customer and funding source interaction – 50%

a) Present sales/financing/deal structure for specific market segmentation

b) Present lease packaging for customer retention

c) Present TCO models across equipment, service and reagents/consumables

2. Strategic Planning – 45%

a) Develop sales and financing programs for customer segments including financial analysis/deal modeling and deal strategy/structure as well as direct customer negotiations

b) Develop lease packaging based upon the customer demographics and needs and taking into consideration individual deal dynamics, FASB/IASB, MEA rules and regulations and their correlation to customers’ needs and Siemens’ requirements

c) Lead various project teams both within and outside of areas of expertise; demonstrate ability to synthesize and process data from a variety of sources and develop single strategy/direction for the organization (i.e., Consolidators)

d) Develop lease packaging based upon the customer demographics and needs

e) Act as the strategic financial partner for Zone VP

3. People Development – 5%

a) Coach/mentor business operations employees (Pricing Admin, Contracts Admin, Contracting Services) in business processes, MEA and lease transactions

b) Coach/collaborate with sales management in Zones

                                                                                                                                               

Requirements:

·       7-10 Years Healthcare market experience

·       7-10 Years Customer facing sales/financial management experience

·       Business development experience

·       7-10 Years of finance/business administration management/controlling experience

 

Education:

Degree required – Finance, Business Administration or applicable degree that fits job description
