Job Description Financial Analyst III

 

Position Summary:

Team member responsible for working together with Siemens Industry

Software Portfolio Management and various Software business segments to

facilitate Acquisition and divestment process from target selection

through acquisition and monitoring post acquisition performance.

Responsibilities include partnering with Portfolio Management and CF

MAP in acquisition/divestment process to develop business plans,

perform valuation analysis in support of executive decision-making and

coordinate business Due Diligence process.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

Activities during P-Proposal and I-Application:

- Responsible for developing business plan including standalone and

synergies.

- Knowledge in discounted cash flow (DCF) valuation

- Strong communication skills.  Be able to communicate with different

stakeholders both in and out of PL business unit and across

geographies.

- Coordinate and participatesin business and finance due diligence

- Responsible for incorporating due diligence findings into I

Application business plan

- Involvement in negotiation process

Ongoing activities after closing:

- Support post-closing periodical reporting requirement

- Monitor acquisition performance and realization of synergies

- Perform various ad-hoc analysis

- Support/facilitate various requests from different work streams

related to post acquisition activities

 

Minimum requirements:

- Go getter with a can-do attitude, quick learner, willing to stretch

and flexible to take on multiple assignments

- Strong process understanding

- Strong analytical / business partnering skills to evaluate results

and decisions

- Strong knowledge and skill in MS Excel and PowerPoint

- Good relationship to corporate entities and PL

- Good communication and presentation skills

- Strong project management skills

- Strong finance and accounting knowledge

- Willing to travel

- Preferred experience in the software business

Knowledge and Experience:

- Degree: MBA and/or CPA or CFA

- Siemens Acquisition, divestment or integration experience

- Demonstrates extensive knowledge in the Acquisition\Divestment

valuation process including DCF valuation and strong Excel skills

• Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of organization’s business

process and utilize such knowledge to solve problems

• Typically 3+ years of successful experience in related field and

successful demonstration of Duties and Responsibilities as presented

above

• Advanced degree MAY be substituted for experience where applicable
