Job Description:

Position Overview
Product Marketing is critical to effectively communicating the value of Siemens’ solutions.  Clearly articulating the value propositions of Siemens’ solutions helps sales and presales teams effectively position solutions within their accounts, and helps customers determine how they can get the most out of their investment. 
This position will work with a cross-functional team of product owners, developers, and management, to help to articulate and champion the value of combined Teamcenter/Mentor solutions. 
Are you a self-starter?  Can you identify gaps and come up with creative solutions?  Do you have an eye for detail and pride in the deliverables you create?  In this role, you will report to the Director of Marketing for Teamcenter and Polarion, and be responsible for developing the go-to-market strategies and tactics for combined Teamcenter and Mentor solutions, including thought leadership, analyst relations, sales enablement, and digital marketing.
In this role you will:
  • Develop marketing campaigns promoting the value of Siemens solutions
  • Write blog posts illustrating Siemens thought leadership
  • Work with product management and development to understand product strategy and direction
  • Work with product management to jointly publish a product roadmap
  • Prepare and present sessions at Siemens user conferences
  • Work with independent analysts to advocate for joint Siemens/Mentor solutions
  • Prepare enablement material for educating the sales organization
  • Develop sales collateral for use in customer pursuits
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
  • Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree or higher in an engineering or marketing discipline
  • MUST HAVE 5+ years of experience working with the electrical and electronic product life cycles, including PCB design and wire harness design (ECAD)
  • Candidate must be proficient in the Microsoft Office suite of tools
  • Candidate must be able to take direction and run with it, identifying issues and solving problems
  • Candidates must be able to work effectively and drive results across a large cross functional team
  • Candidate should have the ability to travel up to 15-20%
Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
  • Candidates should be able to illustrate a good understanding of the overall PLM value proposition
  • Candidates should have experience working with customers who are purchasing or deploying PLM, or have experience working at a company who has deployed PLM
