Position Overview: Acts as project coordinator for automation hardware installation from pre-sale to implementation with CAD drawings and automation configuration: Coordinates projects for new and existing automation systems.
Please note that this is a remote based position.
Job specific responsibilities: The responsibilities include working with the Automation Informatics Manager (AIM), Sales, Automation Informatics Specialist, HCS and Automation Hardware Consultants (AHC) to provide support for automation implementations. The APS provides all CAD drawings and feasibility logic for lab installations. The APS provides pre-sales support for Siemens automation system configuration. The APS will possess an above average knowledge level of Siemens' automation systems. The APS is a national resource within the TAO.
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
AutoCAD experience is a must.
Education: BS/BA in related discipline, or advanced degree, where required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge and Experience: Demonstrates and applies comprehensive knowledge of field of specialization to the successful completion of complex assignments, i.e. Aptio Automation implementation planning. Demonstrates advanced knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures for Siemens Automation implementations. Demonstrates significant knowledge of organization's business practices and issues faced and contributes to problem resolution of those issues. Typically 5-8 years of successful experience in related field and successful demonstration of Key Responsibilities and Knowledge as presented above. Advanced degree MAY be substituted for experience, where applicable.
