Job Description:

Siemens PLM US Talent Acquisition

 

Career Quest is the Global Marketing organization’s job rotation
program.  The aim of the program is to identify, assess and develop
talent for specific future organizational needs. Through the program,
employees can gain skills for career advancement by experiencing a
variety of job roles.

Start It is one component of the Career Quest program, which focuses on
developing interns and co-op employees intopermanent roles.

The “Start it” program is designed to develop talents of high-potential
interns and co-ops into permanent roles, get them started in our
company with asolid cross-functional understanding of our business,
and give them some choice into where they end up in their first job out
of college. The role will be part of a rotational program lasting 15
months from the start of employment and will give the employee exposure
to the major components of the marketing function. A total of 5 job
rotations, each three months in duration, will follow a specific
sequence:

1. Marketing Operations
The employee will be exposed to and assist with tasks in the marketing
operations group. Specific areas of focus will be campaign measurement
and reporting, financial measurement and reporting, and will include
(at the discretion of the marketing operations lead) a special project
that can be completed within the rotation.
2. Global digital marketing center (GDMC)
The employee will be assigned to the project management office (PMO),
and from there will have the opportunityto experience and understand
how all parts of the GDMC work and the processes they use.
3. Field marketing
The employee will spend one rotation helping a country marketing
organization execute its plans, gaining exposure to processes that
include event planning, local web support and localization.
4. Product or industry marketing
The employee will be involved in campaign design and development
including persona, messaging and content development.
5. Marketing communications
The employee will gain exposure to advertising, video production,
collateral production and case study development.

Three months beforethe end of the rotation, the marketing leadership
team will assess the employee’s tenure in the program and identify a
short list of permanent job options. The intern/co-op will then have
the opportunity todiscuss each of the options with the hiring managers
and receive offers. The employee will choose from these offers the role
they prefer to take, and move to that role at the end of the final
rotation.

This position is an entry level position for participants in the
Strategic Student Program who have shown exceptional potential to take
on responsibility and grow their career within Siemens PLM Software.
Successful candidates must possess strong planning, project management,
analytical, and communication skills. This is an excellent opportunity
to experience different marketing functions within the organization to
hone skills and determine the best path for future career growth.

 

Successful completion of the Strategic Student Program preferred,
including earning a 3.0 or better GPA from the academic institution
currently enrolled in and a 3 rating or better on the performance
review
Proof of earning a 3.0 or better GPA and graduating with a 4 year
college degree, preferably in Marketing, Business Management or related
field, prior to commencing employment in this role
Strong project management and analytical skills
Exacting attention to detail
Proven ability to work efficiently with geographically dispersed teams
with little supervision
Proven ability to produce high quality deliverables on or before
deadlines
<10% travel will be required
