Job Description:

We currently have an opening for a Shared Service Ultrasound Imaging Specialist for our Mountain View, MV location. This specialist position will support the marketing team in the creation, collection and distribution of clinical images for the successful promotion and marketing of our Shared Service ultrasound systems. The role will act as the Marketing teams clinical specialist to support all new product introductions, including all digital/print marketing materials.

Close collaboration with both customers and colleagues will be critical to the roles success, acting as a liaison to positively influence the creation of all new Ultrasound product solutions by Siemens Healthineers.

The position will report directly to the Senior Director of Marketing and Communications in Mountain View, California.

Responsibilities:

·         Management of the clinical image requirements to successfully promote the value propositions (key features and benefits) for all New Product Introductions (NPI)

·         Creation, collection, editing and labeling of Ultrasound images in-house and from clinical institutions for Marketing purposes

·         Deliver remote and/or on site advanced image acquisition support for global luminaries

·         Conduct regular visits to customers for acquisition of interesting clinical cases and obtain feedback in regards to quality of imaging and equipment

·         Work closely with other members of the Ultrasound organizations on development and implementation of solutions in regards to image quality and acquisition

·         Support international tradeshows through product demonstrations and customer support

·         Support the Mountain View Ultrasound HQ innovation center/showroom visits

·         Review and release of all Marketing collaterals that include clinical imagery

·         Understand Siemens' and competitors' products and workflows

·         Management of the collection, storage, delivery and distribution methods and procedures for marketing images

·         Education and support of non-clinical marketing specialists

·         Maintain ARDMS or equivalent credentials

·         Maintain compliance to Regulatory and Quality requirements

 

Required:

·         Qualified Sonographer with clinical application experience (minimum 5yrs)

·         Recent clinical experience

·         BS/BA in related discipline

·         Current ARDMS or equivalent credentials in relevant field(s) (RDMS, RDCS, RVT, RMSK)

·         Strong understanding of technology and how it impacts the Ultrasound image

·         Fluent in English; both verbally and in writing

·         Ability to work independently and travel

·         Great communicator

·         Analytical problem solver

·         Location: North America

·         Travel: >50% of the time – including international travel

 

Preferred:

 

·         Location: Mountain View, California

·         Recent experience of Ultrasound system sales or marketing demonstrations

·         Currently certified via Vendor Credentialing 

·         Industry /commercial experience of at least 5 years as well as demonstrated experience in clinical setting.

·         Siemens Ultrasound Technology Experience including advanced ultrasound applications, included but not limited to:

o    Contrast Enhanced Ultrasound

o    Elastography and Shearwave imaging

o    3D/4D Ultrasound Imaging

o    Interventional Procedures

o    Pediatric Echocardiography

o    Ultrasound Automatic Breast Volume Scanning

·         Experience of multiple different Ultrasound vendor technology
