Job Description Financial Analyst III

 

This role reports to the Manager of Business Controlling and performs

financial analysis of business results in support to the CFO of the BU

Product Lifecycle Management (BU PL).

 

Performs complex financial analysis on budget, cash flows, operating

results, and business plans to determine rates of returns and

capital/cash flow requirements. Prepares forecast and analysis on

industry and general economic trends and works with minimum of

supervision.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Responsible for the timely and competent analysis of business results

• Support the PL performance controlling team by analyzing actual

business results, forecast data and wrapping up results in

presentations to senior management during monthly closings

• Contact person for a business segment during monthly reporting,

forecasting and budgeting cycles

• Support the performance controlling team by putting together budget

presentation and analysis  for BU management

• Handles special projects and analysis requests (such as ad-hoc

analysis, M&A related requests, Cash Flow and BU CFO presentations)

• Presents results of financial analysis to senior management and makes

recommendations to enhance business transparency

• Modeling: Assist in building detailed financial models toevaluate

potential targets and competitive performance, including modeling under

various operating scenarios

• Predictive: Develop, implement, and manage conceptual models

analyzing historic trends and predicting future financial performance

• Competitive Analysis & Capital Market Communication: Conduct

competitor and capital market oriented analysis, as well as the

deduction of implications for the BU

 

Minimum requirements

• Degree: Bachelor Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting

• Master of Science, Master of Business Administration and/or CPA/CMA

preferred

• Minimum of four years of relevant education/work experience in

Finance

• Experience working with Office, Essbase, Esprit and SAP

• Tableau and Qlik experience strongly preferred

• Must have strong systems, analytics and communication skills
