Job Description:

Do you appreciate leading edge technology? This position is responsible

for presales & consultancy functions within a group focused on

launching and growing Siemens Motion Control's digitalization

initiative in the USA. The relevant portfolio which is in currently

being rolled out in the US Market is called the CNC (Computer Numerical

Control) Shopfloor Management Software. This software enables effective

management, analysis and optimization of machine tools.


•Customer value co-creation  to derive customer pain points in depth

and derive solutions/use cases

•Support in rolling out high technology software products in the US in

close cooperation with our HQ

•Supporting customers in using available data & existing solutions to

create value through impact on relevant KPIs

•Development of customized solutions (incl. connectivity)

•Identification of patterns/signatures in data and creation of insights

for machine tool operation

•Definition of requirements for products & applications related to

machine tool software

•Generation of use cases, references as well as pilot projects to show

Value Proposition. Carry out sales training, consult customers and

support sale

•Support the country sales team by further developing the team’s

capabilities through Sales and Product Trainings and Boot Camps for

driving the CNC shopfloor Management portfolio to the market

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

•Candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in working with

manufacturing related software.

•Bachelor’s Degree required.

•Familiar with Data analytics methods and problem solving in

manufacturing environments.

•Understanding of business models and functional processes related to

digitalization and Industry 4.0 in diverse industries.

•Candidate will have excellent relationship selling skills complemented

by exceptional written and oral skills and strong organizational
