Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced social media communicator to help create and edit healthcare content for our various social sites. As part of the in vitro diagnostics business’s content and creative team, you will act as the voice of diagnostics across our Siemens Healthineers social properties/channels. As the primary liaison to our corporate social team, you’ll be an important member of a social community. This position is 40% social content and creative development, 20% editorial and campaign planning, 20% community management, 10% analysis, 10% coaching and teaching others.
Job responsibilities:
  • As an expert in social media, you will write and edit social media posts to ensure they are optimized for each platform
  • A true collaborator, you will work with business and regional colleagues on crafting content and campaigns that align with business goals and the global social media strategy – often translating content from print and web into social
  • You are the social media advocate in within the diagnostics business and will be champion for proper social media use to communicate through social channels
  • You have a passion for social channels in general, and will assess competitive social activity, as well as make recommendations from successful social activities from healthcare or other relevant industries
  • You have an eye for visual content and can make suggestions and give direction to communications colleagues, creative teams and agencies on images and videos
  • Your comfort level in the digital space gives you an advantage in training others on the best practices and importance of social media for a major brand
  • Design images, infographics and other collateral that plays into the overall social strategy
  • Analyze social data to make recommendations on future campaigns
  • Manage social workflow for a highly matrixed organization, manage agencies as required
  • Answer questions on social media and coach colleagues on best practices
 
Skills required:
  • 5 to 8 years’ experience in a digital communications role, with responsibility for social media
  • Strong knowledge of all social platforms and passion community management
  • Passionate about design and super excited about social media
  • Understanding of organic and paid social media (advertising), targeting, retargeting, and relevant tactics to influence diverse professional and consumer audiences
  • Multitask and manage numerous projects in a fast-paced environment; work well under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Ability to work on a team, sit in meetings, and communicate closely with others globally
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite
