Job Description:
The Zone Technical Director (ZTD) oversees a team of managers that have responsibility ranging for Technical and Zone Application Specialists, Technical Application Managers and Zone Project Specialist. The ZTD directs the process of the TAMs and engages with the Dir of AIT for Automation and Informatics implementations & customer support. ZTD drives revenue recognition guidelines on capital shipment and works with the Sales Leadership for revenue retention and growth. Directs the process for managing KPI's performance for the zone.
Responsibilities
The ZTD is responsible for the development and competency of all
employees. They design overall operational objectives and work
plans. They are responsible for delegating assignments and managing
managers. They create and drive strategic imperatives for their
organization. They are responsible for developing strategy for retention of current
accounts and making final decision for organizational direction.
Key Responsibilities include:
• The Development and Competency
of all Employees for sustainable of technical & clinical excellence
• Set strategic direction
• Design Operational Objectives and Key Initiatives for productivity and market
differentiation
• Engage with Service partners to oversee timely resolution of customer
escalations
• Collaborate with the Sales Leadership on key accounts & instrument
implementation to achieve capital and revenue goals
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
Bachelor’s
Degree in Laboratory Sciences/ Business Management, or biological Sciences
preferred- MBA is a plus, or equivalent advanced degree.
Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
(oral, written) for success. Must also possess an excellent team and customer
service orientation, as well as problem solving, time management and computer
proficiency skills. Must also have an aptitude for financial analysis strategic
business partnering, project management. Motivates and directs performance
management objectives for organization.
Individual must possess a valid Driver's license in good standing.
Individual must be at least 21 years of age in order to participate in the
required Siemens vehicle plan.
Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
Ten or more years experience in the Diagnostics industry, IVD management, Laboratory Management Experience, Management of a High Performance Team, Installation/Service Experience, Proven Team Leadership Skills, Problem Solving Skills, Capital Equipment Sales experience, or service experience is a plus.
