Job Description:

Field Service Commissioning Technician (Electrical/Mechanical)
Project Sites throughout North and South America and be able to support other business partners throughout the world. Must be able to travel 100%

Responsibilities:
Demonstrates strong Initiative and motivation to learn new technology and translate learning into employee coaching and mentoring; motivation and ability to work flexible work schedule; basic training within electrical, mechanical and hydraulic fields; hands-on experience with electro-technical and hydraulic machinery; excellent customer service skills; excellent communication skills; ability to organize and plan daily/weekly work with a high level of quality orientation; ability to analyze and resolve problems independent of supervision with a high level of results orientation.

Requirements:

1-2 years of relevant experience

100% Travel Requirement
Previous experience with Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy wind turbine desired including successful completion of GWO level, climb and rescue training.

Assignments will be both domestic and international.

International assignments will be in Canada and South America and possibly other parts of the world.

Candidate must be able to be deployed on long-term, (over 1 year) assignments internationally.  Candidate must be legally able to travel internationally, especially Canada. 

Must live within 25 miles of an major metropolitan international airport

Must have electrical/mechanical skills.

Willing and able to learn new skills.

Basic supervisory/leadership skills; able to work suspended from heights up to 300 feet; flexibility to travel as needed and able to work within and lead a work team.

Basic computer skills, data entry, outlook, etc.

Ability to think clearly and maintain composure during stressful, dangerous situations; demonstrated quality orientation.

The Field Service Commissioning Technician position requires that employees be able to ascend to heights up to 300 feet or greater, work in confined spaces, discern colors and meet body weight restrictions of 265 pounds. A medical practitioner will assess successful candidates to ensure they meet these requirements at all times during their employment.
