Siemens Healthineers is looking for talented individuals destined to usher in the next era of healthcare. We live in a moment of remarkable change and opportunity. The convergence of data and technology is transforming healthcare and our business in every way.  This exciting opportunity will :

 

 

Investments:

  • Explore and analyze markets and trends in the industry
  • Perform competitive analysis and identify current best practices and market leaders
  • Size the existing customer market, as well as identify trends and relative positioning
  • Analyze multiple start-ups to synthesize  new business and tech opportunities
  • Drive due diligence activities on target companies relating to target pro forma financial modeling, target pro forma capitalization table, waterfall, and investment return scenario analysis.
  • Test and validate assumptions while creating a sensitivity analysis for key drivers
  • Collaborate with the Strategy, Design, Product and Technology team to build viable venture and product plans

Exploration and Incubation:

  • Build key performance indicators for  portfolio ventures 
  • Define the business model options and case for new ventures, products and services
  • Develop the economic model and business plan for new ventures, products and services
  • Assess internal/external capabilities and capacities to develop a sourcing strategy 

Candidate will need:

  • 5-7+ years of experience in venture capital, technology, consulting, or other relevant fields
  • A bachelor’s degree (business, economics, strategy or equivalent from a top-tier institution preferred)
  • A master’s degree helpful but not preferred (postgraduate, MBA or equivalent study)
  • Some experience in a start-up/consulting/private equity environment and exposure to multidisciplinary teams
  • Preferred majors are Finance, Economics, Business, or other quantitative majors
  • Analytical orientation with strong interpersonal skills
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint experience
  • Outstanding oral and written communication abilities
  • Ability to work both collaboratively and independently
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and eager to learn
  • Team player who possesses intellectual curiosity, sound judgment, and attention to detail

Travel: 20% to 25%
