Product Engineer, Sr.
Leading Healthcare manufacturer of Laboratory Blood Analyzers is seeking an Electrical Engineer with hands-on hardware trouble-shooting and reworking experience. Excellent position for an energetic, self-motivated candidate that can lead to career growth within a fast moving engineering organization.
Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
  • Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and drawings.
  • Experience with hands-on troubleshooting of complex digital and analog circuits.
  • Ability to test components, assemble prototypes, measure product performance and generate verification reports.
  • Experience with testing and troubleshooting circuit boards, motor and thermal controls.
  • Ability to rework/replace SMT components on PCBA’s including Integrated Circuit per IPC standard.
  • Ability to assemble cable wiring harnesses from engineering drawings per IPC standard.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and configuration issues in test fixtures using various electronic lab test equipment.
  • Design automated test fixtures using LabView and other software languages.
  • Manage daily activities in Electrical lab including purchasing prototyping materials.
    Education and Experience required:
  • Bachelor degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.
  • Industry related experience through a college work study program or as an electrical technician.
    Required Skills/Qualifications:
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize multiple assignments and projects
  • Excellent communication and ability to provide concise regular technical updates.
  • An ability to learn new skills and work with new technology.
  • A positive attitude to work through problems to reach the end goal.
  • A passion for engineering.
