PLM Finance FA2 Job Description
This position reports to the VP in the DX PLM Finance group within Siemens Healthcare with day to day guidance from the Senior Analyst. The position is responsible for financial reporting, planning and analysis. Activities include monthly reporting and analysis, forecasting and budgeting. The ideal candidate should be extremely detail oriented, but able to understand the larger financial landscape of the PLM organization.
Responsibilities include: 
  • Prepare and post month end journal entries into SAP and intercompany charges into EZ-Suite.  Journal entries cover re-classes and accruals for R&D expenses.
  • Process documentation required for capital expenditures by reviewing document for completeness and routing for proper approvals
  • Complete routine monthly reports in Excel.  Reports include both financial and headcount figures for cost centers and R&D projects.
  • Contribute to preparation of monthly presentations in PowerPoint.
  • Query SAP for financial information (project/cost center expenses, status of PO’s)
  • Complete ad hoc analysis as requested by senior management with ability to identify and research significant variances.
  • Able to meet strict deadlines and to work independently with moderate supervision.
  • Able to effectively communicate with different levels with the organization, both within and outside of Finance.
