Job Description:

Position Overview

  • Supervision of hourly filling personnel on the first shift.
  • Career coaching and development of employees
  • Workflow and workload management within Production/Manufacturing
  • Frontline troubleshooting of filling related processes
  • Support Manufacturing Engineering implementing procedures and equipment procurement
  • Monitor high volume production lines identify opportunities for improvement, determination of root cause and solution implementation

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Supports a semi-complex production flow through the manufacturing areas based on effective machine utilization and production schedules
  • Evaluates, recommends and implements programs to endure all production targets are achieved
  • Supports the planning and supervising the execution of contractor work orders in a timely and cost effective manner

 

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

  • BS/BA in related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Typically 3-5 years of successful experience in a directly related field
  • Detail oriented and demonstrate a commitment to accuracy and high quality
  • Proven management in high volume cGMP manufacturing environment
  • Familiarity with filling operations
  • Knowledge of SAP and Lean methodologies
  • Demonstrates knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices and procedures for supervised work groups
  • Microsoft Office experience required
