Job Description:

We are searching for a System Specialist I (Fire Safety Systems) who will report directly to the Operations Manager, and who will play a key role in the design, installation, and implementation of all technical aspects of Fire Safety Systems. These will be newly installed FSS systems in retrofit or newly constructed buildings. This role will be based out of Cromwell, CT and will focus on vertical markets of K-12, Higher education, Health Care, Office, Pharma, etc. 

 
Responsibilities

-Works with project management and engineering team to review jobs specifications and design needs.

-Generates operating programs for fire alarm systems.

-Performs electrical work necessary to install systems, and general electrical infrastructure.

-Troubleshoots and repairs complex electronic systems within new construction, and owner occupied buildings.

 
Qualifications

-Some experience with fire alarm systems. Experience could be as electrician, installer, or fire alarm technician.

-High School diploma required. Technical school program strongly desired.

-Must have knowledge of computers and MS Suite of products and systems.

-Strong documentation and communication skills desired.

-Independent, self learner and high desire for high quality products and systems.

-Must possess a valid drivers license in good standing.

-Must be 21 years of age with a valid drivers license in good standing in order to participate in the required Siemens

vehicle plan.

-IT networking strongly desired.
