Are you ready to be part of a global Water Solutions company and support the flow of information within the global business? Siemens Energy, Inc. is currently searching for a Project Assistant to provide support to our Oil and Gas business unit located in Broussard, LA.
As a Project Assistant, you will have the chance to work as part of a multi-discipline team focused on the offshore services part of Siemens Water Solutions business. During your time with us, you will complete a variety of advanced administrative tasks, including but not limited to, asset management, compliance programs, project documentation. You should be able to think on your feet, work with minimal supervision, multitask effectively as well as utilize independent judgment, and have the initiative to take on new tasks and challenges every day. This position reports directly to the Administrative Manager and will work with various disciplines within the business.
Manage processes including, but not limited to, equipment data sheets; QA/QC documentation; compliance programs; project documentation.
Develop and maintain sharepoint site for compliance documentation.
Prepare presentations, reports, spreadsheets, and other documents.
Maintain database information.
Accuracy of data entry:
Accurately maintain and upload compliance documentation
Ability to review project reports and input feed data into post-project reports.
Accurately collect and enter feed data.
Support in organizing and maintaining asset compliance, QA/QC and project documentation.
Seek advice and guidance on non-routine or problem areas from manager.
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
Ability to multi-task, maintain focus, and meet deadlines.
Ability to work accurately and efficiently
Strong communication and organizational skills; friendly and courteous.
Ability to problem-solve and provide support as requested.
Intermediate skill level on PC based programs – Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Typically 5-8 years of successful experience
Associates degree; or minimum requirement of HS Diploma with relevant experience
Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
- Associates degree for Administrative Professional
- PC-based programs – Adobe Acrobat or similar; Sharepoint or similar
- Data entry
- SAP experience a plus but not required
- Occasional overtime required
