Purpose:
Logistics Training Specialist - Medical Device
This position will report to our Site Quality Head
The purpose of this position is to coordinate various training activities at the ADC (Americas Distribution Center). They will also help oversee the Learn4U training application. This position will lead focused training activities and will also act as mentor to site trainers, and those individuals that deliver training.
1. Develop and maintain on-site certified Train-The-Trainer program. Oversee TTTs and ensure that training materials and On-the-Job-Training activities are audience specific, and correlate to current procedures and processes.
2. Oversee Learn4U application, act as site contact, and report metrics to local leadership.
3. Help assess and align the site training requirements
4. Help develop and maintain risk-based training effectiveness assessments
5. Monitor, evaluate, and improve overall training materials and approaches for effectiveness
6. Develop and maintain on-boarding orientation program for new contract and Siemens employees.
7. Develop and/or introduce new training work-aids and applications
8. Offer specific training programs to help workers maintain or improve job skills.
9. Supervise, evaluate, or refer instructors to skill development classes.
10. Schedule classes based on availability of classrooms, equipment, or instructors.
11. Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
· Bachelors in Industrial Training, Adult Learning, Organizational Leadership, or HR related degree
· 5-8 years of experience in an Industrial training role.
· Ability to deliver all-employee, or large class-room training.
· Ability to collaborate and work in team environment
· Ability to develop, design, or create new applications, ideas, relationships, systems, or products, including artistic contributions.
· Ability to conduct information-search for developing new training material.
· Ability to manage multiple projects and meet due dates.
· Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills
Preferred:
· Experience in Instructional Design
