The Siemens Building Technologies Division is searching for a dynamic Graphics Design Supervisor to handle the Design Engineering group in our Bridgeville, PA office. Position Overview

As our Graphics Supervisor, you will plan and organize the activities of a team of graphic designers. Want to be responsible for the on time delivery of accurate and enabled system graphics within the project budgets and accountable for the team to achieve targeted financial and quality results? If so, then this role will be ideal for you.

Supervising the activities and performance of all graphic design within assigned area is your primary focus.

Some of your daily responsibilities include:

 Planning, organizing, directing and controlling graphic generation activities for assigned projects.

 You will want to ensures schedules are followed and projects proceed according to plans, job specifications and cost estimates.

 Supervising activities including graphic preparation, linking of points, testing, job folder updates and re-estimates are also a part of your tasks.

 As a Graphics Manager, you will promote, and ensure implementation of productivity tools and practices.

 Our Graphics Leads actively handle priorities with the Project Managers to deliver on time completion of work.

 Planning and supporting staffing requirements, and coordinating with the Graphics Engineering Center of Competence for timely execution of assigned work is meaningful work being completed.

 Do you love forecasting? If so, you will have the privilege of preparing and providing a monthly forecast.

 Ensures proper job management and cost control by reviewing project financial statements.

 Maintain and improve planned and executed margins for Solutions projects.

 Is it important for you to make your customers happy? You'll review customer feedback and ensures high fulfillment.

 Lead or advise on hiring, training and development, allocation and performance assessment of personnel within area of responsibility.

Work is generally performed in an office environment. Some time will be spent at customer locations. That may include time spent on construction sites with a moderate volume level and regular distractions.

 Compressed schedule performance can be a factor and will require extended hours.

 Some physical requirements such as reaching, climbing, standing and bending.

 Ability to work extended hours occasionally as required.

 Minimal overnight travel

Responsible to resolve priority of tasks and selection of resources based on skills in order to meet customer promise with zero defects.

 Ensure compliance to Building Technologies Area Management standards.

Required Knowledge/Skills/Experience & Education

Requires two years of college or technical school resulting in an Associate's degree or equivalent.

Bachelor's degree is helpful.

 5+ Years Experience in Engineering or Project Management.

 3+ Years of Supervisory Experience.

Previous related experience working in Graphics Design and leading/supervising.

Previous industry related or Engineering background.
