Job Description:

Position Overview

 

Are you ready to drive operations that deliver life saving tests to our labs and hospitals?

 

This supervisor position is responsible for the following:

  • Supplying the Manufacturing Laboratories with materials for formulation
  • Managing laboratory equipment calibration and preventative maintenance
  • Laboratory equipment set-up and lab ware cleaning systems 

This position is essential in supporting the on time completion of quality test reagents.

 

This position reports into the Director of Laboratory Diagnostics Manufacturing at the Walpole Site.  There is a team of 8 employees that report into this position.

 

 

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

 

  • An Associates degree
  • Technical proficiency in Equipment Cal/PM & Material Management
  • Experience in the Medical Device industry, 2+ years
  • Equipment Calibration/Manufacturing/Material Handling working experience 3+ years
  • There is minimal travel required for this position

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

Outline exactly what knowledge/skills, education, and experiences are preferred but NOT required to be considered for this position.

  • A Bachelors degree in Science or Engineering is preferred
  • Experience in the Medical Device industry, 2+ years
  • Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office Applications
