Training Registration Specialist - Milford, OH


Position Overview:


Our Siemens PLM Software training business is growing and we will be supporting more software products this year.  As a Training Registration Specialist, you will work with other team members who have similar responsibilities and you will be expected to perform administrative duties for one or more mid-level leaders and department professionals.  This position will work with customers who enroll in our commercial training business, supporting classes for various Siemens PLM Software applications.  The selected candidate must be comfortable contacting customers via the phone to schedule, reschedule, or cancel training, and to help manage/process requests for new events.


This person operates under minimal supervision and the work requires some analysis and use of initiative and independent judgment.


This position will  report to a Project Delivery Manager (Services Manager) within the Learning and Adoption Services organization, which falls under the Americas Sales and Services organization.




  • Helps with the readiness of training center classrooms and supplies.
  • Will make contact with customers and individuals inside the company relaying information which could be highly sensitive or confidential. Additionally, you will have access to some confidential information and must handle such information professionally and adhere to company policies and procedures when dealing with such information.
  • Will assist with end of month billing/invoicing as needed, and should be comfortable helping us to continually improve and develop new processes to help our organization and business run more efficiently.


Position is expected to perform the following tasks:


  • Regularly exercise discretion and judgment in their work.
  • Provide a wide range of administrative support to the leaders and employees
  • Understand and follow company procedures and policies.
  • Responsible for office communications and logistics.
  • Work effectively in a team environment, both internally and externally, by displaying professionalism and courteousness at all times.
  • Required and Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:
  • Associates Degree Required – Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • At least 5 years of administrative/office manager experience.
  • Must possess excellent computer skills. 
  • Specific skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook are mandatory
  • Knowledge of customer training and how a training business operates is preferred
  • Familiarity of various communication tools, internet, and other social media platforms is preferred
  • Knowledge and use of SAP is preferred.
  • Knowledge/use of SharePoint is a plus
  • Excellent Organizational skills, problem solving
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work independently with littler supervision or as part of the time is essential.
  • Must have the ability to work in a high-profile environment with tact, diplomacy and grace
  • Must be able to work on multiple projects with varying deadlines and priorities
