Job Description:

Position Overview

Are you ready to help drive the financial performance of a full manufacturing facility through inventory management, asset management, and sound financial analysis?  We are looking for an experienced Accountant/Financial Analyst to join our team and take ownership of their role in financial reporting and analysis.  This position is a key role at the site.

 

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will display a strong sense of ownership of their role in financial reporting and analysis.  Specific requirements are listed below:

 

  • Detailed analysis and review of utilization, efficiency, and overtime of plant operations
  • Production variance analysis
  • Collaborating with various departments to establish budget and forecast
  • Continuing dialogue with department heads regarding financial performance
  • Annual rate development, including Overhead and Burden
  • Strong understanding of capital expenditures and depreciation modeling
  • Monthly balance sheet reconciliations for review with management
  • Maintains and process complex entries in accordance with US GAAP

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

  • BS/BA in accounting or finance
  • Demonstrates and applies knowledge in the fields of cost accounting, and financial reporting and analysis
  • Typically 5-8 years of successful experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Successful demonstration of key responsibilities mentioned above
  • Advanced degree may be substituted for experience, where applicable
