Job Description:

Position Overview:

The hired Senior Operations Analyst will use certain sales, marketing &

operational systems, as well as work on a team responsible for

providing business analysis & decision-making support to ensure the

company's long term strategic objectives are met. Prior experience in

an enterprise SAAS/Subscription software model in rapidly growing

software industry is preferred.  Knowledge of the business and

organizational Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and revenue

recognition standards is preferred.

 

Performs standard analyses of business goals, business systems,

objectives and needs and of the general business environment.  Plans

and designs business processes/tools and makes recommendations in order

to improve and support business activities.  Utilizes systems and data

to resolve business issues in the most effective and productive manner.

Must have the ability to work under minimal supervision.

 

Responsibilities:

Support sales planning & financial analysis on a global level including

partnering with Global P&L Regional Directors & Sales, Service, and

Customer Support teams.

Using Salesforce/SAP/Tableau - provide sales metrics, forecasts and

reporting on sales activity to senior management & sales organization

Collaborate with Sales on Lead to Order and Order to Cash Processes

Handle Monthly reporting on overall team numbers and individual

performance vs. quotas, including strategic compensation analysis

projects.

From initial contact to deal closure, support sales order workflow;

including deal architecture, ensuring booking policy is adhered to, and

overseeing contract compliance.

Partner with executive team & divisional heads to complete business

performance analysis & develop tools to support decision making

throughout the organization.

Liaise with corporate accounting in the reconciliation of monthly

bookings between Salesforce and finance systems

Create models to perform deep dive analysis of growth and profitability

drivers, operational benchmarking, & ROI analysis.

Lead projects for company's Master Data Management plan

Ad hoc special projects, reporting, forecasting & analysis for sales

directors & senior management

 

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education and Experience:

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, advanced degree or MBA preferred

- 5+ years’ of Sales Operations experience in a software company

- Position requires a positive attitude/attention to detail

 

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education and Experience:

- Understanding of Multi-Channel Marketing

- Advanced knowledge of Salesforce.com (Certification is a plus) (Highly preferred)

- SaaS/Subscription software model in rapidly growing software industry (Highly preferred)

- Desire to lead initiatives, work effectively independently & as part of a larger team
