We are looking for dedicated software engineers to help bring our knowledge and vision together.
In this role, you would be a part of a software development team dedicated to creating a high-quality product to improve rail safety. Responsibilities within the software development process include:

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
• BS/BA in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience
• 5-8 years of software development experience
• Software development experience in one or more general purpose programming languages, preferably C++/C
• Object Oriented programming experience
• Experience with software design and documentation
• Strong knowledge of debugging practices
• Strong attention to detail, an ability to multitask, and an ability to work independently and on a team
Demonstrates and applies a broad knowledge of field of specialization through successful completion of moderately complex assignments. Successfully applies complex knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of particular area of specialization. Demonstrates knowledge of organization's business practices and issues. Typically, 5-8 years of successful experience in related field and successful demonstration of Key Responsibilities and Knowledge as presented above. Advanced degree MAY be substituted for experience, where applicable.
Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
• Experience with PTC or other safety systems preferred but not necessary
• Experience with other languages a plus: Python, Perl, Java, C#
• Experience with Linux preferred
• Experience with development of embedded systems a plus
• Experience with GUI development, Qt preferable
• Experience with ClearCase or other SCM software
• Interest and ability to learn other coding languages as needed.
• Able to communicate efficiently with a broad cross section of technical and non-technical colleagues
