Job Description:

Responsible for the overall execution and accountability of the project from handover through close out. Responsible for the overall project plan and budget, attainment of project goals & objectives, project key metrics, and periodic project status reporting to the project team and senior management. Effectively organizes and manages the resources provided and acts as the main interface to the Steering Committee.  In this role you will support internal global projects.
 
Responsibilities:
Overall responsibility for the assigned project
Lead and manage assigned projects to deliver on target agreements
Provide project transparent controlling & reporting to local & global management
Lead formal client interface on assigned projects and keep all project stakeholders informed on project status
Lead assigned project team members to accomplish assigned work and conduct timely team meetings
Ensure effective & efficient project close-out and handover if required
Responsible for project risk, project change, and project claim management
Responsible for all decisions affecting project financial and schedule outcomes
Create and lead management of the project execution plan
Create and maintain critical path schedule for the project
Escalates project issues to appropriate management for prompt resolution.
Support the change management process 
 
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:
Bachelor Degree required.
7+ years working in various roles in the manufacturing / processing / solutions / IT / construction / development / commercial / management activity.
3+ years professional experience in project management activities.  PMP certification highly preferred.
Advanced ability to influence others without direct authority, ability to guide cross-functional teams.
Previous experience with project roles interfacing to team members, customers, partners in other countries, regions and cultures.
Ability to travel up to 50%. Both domestic and international, based on project demand.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:
Flexibility to work on international projects with multi-cultural background and travel worldwide as required.

Ability to define project-specific processes as required to support the successful completion of project goals. Ability to adapt to situations requirements quickly.
Ability to tailor messages for the audience.
