Job Description:

Partner Sales Manager II - USA

 

The Channel Sales Lead is responsible for managing the partner

landscape across North America region. This includes all type of sales

partners in the region. This role focusses on the management and

development of channel sale representatives and existing partner

relationships and the onboarding and development of new channel

partners in order to meet and exceed growth expectations in the region.

This role will be instrumental in developing and managing the

distribution business in the region. A close collaboration with the

Regional Market Director, Sales Managers and Channel Operations is

essential. The role owner will report directly to the Vice President

Americas Channel and will have a dotted line into the regional and

international Channel sales leaders


Duties and Responsibilities:

 

• Responsibility for the full channel partner landscape in the region

• Drive Account Planning and annual business planning for all relevant

channel partners in the region

• Drive quarterly business review and planning sessions with relevant

channel partners

• Conduct accurate forecast process and pipeline reviews with channel

partners

• Ensure that channel partners understand marketing & sales campaigns,

leverage and scale them to maximize results

• Implement business development activities and sales campaigns to

drive incremental sales

• Develop programs and plans with distributors to recruit, onboard and

develop indirect partners to increase channel capability and market

coverage

• Coordinate marketing efforts, manage funds properly to support sales

programs effectively

• Enable and support channel partners to develop and grow their

business according to expectations

• Ensure a high level of visibility on sell out and ROI for any sales

program / investment

• Ensure that distribution partners deliver the agreed value to the

reseller landscape

• Responsibility for the full product portfolio sold by channel

partners

• Demonstrate and articulate a full understanding of products and

strategy.

• Build close relationship with the regional team and collaborate

effectively with all other internal

• Constantly meet and exceed revenue goals and financial performance

targets for the region

• Conduct all business ethically and in line with company procedures

and guidelines

• Frequent travel in North America

 

Minimum Requirements:

 

• 10+ years of engineering software sales experience required

• A completed Bachelors degree is required, with an MBA strongly preferred

• Must currently reside within a close commute to a Siemens PLM office space

• The ideal candidate has worked on both sides in Channel Sales and

knows distribution but also the reseller business

• A proven track record of channel sales development

• Channel sales experience

• Strong experience in working in a multi-cultural environment would be

beneficial

• Experience in working with virtual teams across the regions is

necessary
• Fluent business level English required

• People Management Skill

• Demonstrates analytical skills and financial acumen

• Strong communication and presentation skills

• Demonstrates full understanding of distributor business and

organizational set up

• Capable of developing and bringing new channel partners toscale

• Capable to re-energizing existing channel partners in the region

• Enthusiastic, hard working with a mature attitude to establish

credibility and trusted advisor ship with internal and external

customers

• Ability to operate in constant changing environment

• Ability to stay organized and focused even when under pressure

• Must be strongly self-motivated, flexible and proactive
