If you interested in working on a new, early stage incubation of a Machine Learning system, this opportunity may be for you.  We are looking for full-stack developers to build a world class cloud native solution. We are currently in start-up mode, rapidly iterating and testing assumptions against our users.  You will be working with the latest cloud-based services and technology, influencing decisions and building a cloud SaaS.
The position offers a wide degree of latitude and responsibilities.  If you joined our team you would:
  • Lead one or more scrum teams as a Team Lead
  • Support stakeholders and product management in translating business needs into technical requirements
  • Be involved in all phases of the software development life cycle, based on an agile development methodology
  • Be involved with every aspect of design, development, deployment, and operations
  • Fully automate a continuous integration and deployment system
  • Fully automate the functional testing of all subsystems
  • Design and participate in a production support environment
  • Design and execute performance tests
  • Design and build management and operational consoles for operation teams
  • Collaborate in an environment where innovation is encouraged
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
To be successful in our environment candidates must possess the following: 
  • BS CS or equivalent required
  • 6 years of software development experience in front-end and back-end coding and design 
  • Strong background in distributed systems
  • Hands on experience with cloud computing technologies or public facing web systems at scale
  • Experience operating in an autonomous scrum team, provided with latitude in making technical and design decisions
  • A passion for keeping up-to-date with the latest cloud trends and technologies
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent collaboration skills
Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
Any of the following are not required but highly desirable, so let us know if you have this experience! 
  • 10 years of software development experience in front-end and back-end coding and design with Java
  • Early cloud adopter, with a solid grasp of cloud design characteristics
  • Building technologies and IoT (BACnet, MQTT)
  • Machine Learning
  • AWS Services, security, and operations
  • UI Testing with Selenium and Page Objects
  • Experience with performance testing
  • Experience in creating CI pipelines (Jenkins, Maven, Nexus, etc.)
  • TestNG test development and integration in a CD pipeline
  • Experience with container orchestration systems (ECS, Kubernetes, etc.)
