Job Description:

Engineer 2.  Proven ability to troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade complex instruments. At least 2 years’ experience troubleshooting hardware and software issues in a Field service or R&D environment, healthcare industry experience preferred. Provides assistance with testing and troubleshooting in a variety of engineering tasks. Assists in troubleshooting, assembling, and retrofitting prototypes. Experienced with electrical and mechanical devices, electrical wiring, fluidics components, schematics and technical drawings. Communications/ IT experience a plus.  Familiar with diagnostic software and remote access diagnostics.  Assists with engineering related studies, processes, designs, inspections and/or quality audits. Provides assistance with gathering, recording and maintaining engineering specific information. Looking for troubleshooter with a focus on "systems engineering". Technical education required, BS in a technical related field preferred. Some travel required, at times up to 15%. Occasional off shift hours may be required.
