Job Description:

Siemens US Talent Acquisition
Position Overview

Entry level position with responsibility for the calibration and maintenance of process equipment and general lab duties.  Responsible for the manufacturing of Sample and Tissue Preparation reagents, buffers, and basepools. 

Responsibilities (including but not limited to)

 

Calibration of pH and conductivity meters

 

Maintain raw material inventory by ordering from warehouse, keying items in SAP, and the appropriate disposition of expired raw materials.

 

Re-ordering and stocking each lab with supplies and raw materials.

 

Transportation of clean/dirty equipment to and from the CIP area.

 

Use of pipettes, balances, and general lab equipment.

 

Bulk reagent manufacturing.

 

Execution of production order transactions in SAP.

 

Continuous improvement activities to improve efficiency.

 

 

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

Basic lab skills including pH and conductivity measurement of solutions, and pipetting

Microsoft Word and Excel

Excellent time management ability

Excellent communication skills

Ability to multi-task


Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

Previous laboratory manufacturing experience

SAP/ERP System for inventory management
