Job Description:

QC Technician 2

 

This position involves the performance of routine and final QC testing of routine products, including laboratory testing and data analysis.

 

Responsibilities include:

 

-Functional testing of reagents

-Generation of the master curve and assessment of the lot with respect to commercial control recoveries

-Standard Curve validity

-Lot to lot variability

-Perform batch record audits, control value assignments

-Perform frontline troubleshooting as appropriate

-Increased efficiency though time management, multi-tasking and intra-department cooperation

-Participate in project driven work (Quick Kaizens, Lean Manufacturing)

 

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in life sciences or equivalent work experience required.

 

Skills:

1-3 years’ experience.  Good time management and organizational skills required.  GMP and ISO 9001 experience required.  Some PC and software application skills required.  Good interpersonal and communication skills are a must.
