The co-op/intern will work in a dynamic environment as part of a software
development team developing SPECT installation software using C# and powershell.
This will involve learning and applying the fundamentals of large scale
software development to create tools and software for medical device equipment. Additionally, the co-op/intern will have the opportunity to learn a broad range of technologies that are used throughout the continuous integration environment used by software development teams.
Job responsibilities will vary based on project need and interests of the candidate. Potential activities may include tasks such as:
- Develop and test installation software for SPECT-CT medical devices
- Create and test virtual machines in Hyper-V for software development and testing teams
- Assist in troubleshooting installation and configuration issues
- Automate the installation and image creation process
- Migrate build and continuous integration environment to the cloud hosted on Microsoft Azure
- Develop C# and PowerShell installation/configuration tools shared across multiple products
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
Required skills include:
Education: Must be at least a junior Bachelor's student studying Computer Science
Minimum GPA: 3.0
Background in C# and PowerShell is desired
Experience in other object-oriented languages is a plus
