This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As a PCB CAD Designer:

  • You will be responsible for a wide array of PCB (printed circuit board) layouts for ultrasound systems and transducers.
  • You will work closely with electrical design engineers to create successful layout constraint driven results.
  • You will work cross functionally with groups within Siemens and with contract manufacturing partners.
  • You will work with and maintain relationships with PCB suppliers on standards, impedance calculations, materials and processes.
  • You will leverage your Cadence Allegro and PCB layout expertise to train less experienced engineers.

This position may suit you best if you are familiar with what is below, and would like to do develop your career with Healthineers

  • You should have a broad understanding of Cadence Allegro constraint manager.
  • You should have the ability to interpret supplier data sheets and convert into Cadence Allegro library components.
  • You should have the ability to transpose input files to Cadence Allegro, i.e.,  Pads, DXF, EMP, ProE/Creo, Orcad, and other file types.
  • You will have excellent time management skills to stay focused and on schedule for engineering design layout projects.

Required skills to have for the success of this role



·         5 + years of actual PCB design experience in RF/digital/analog layout

·         5+ Years of experience in Cadence Allegro

·         2+ years of setting up Cadence Allegro constraints

·         Familiarity with Mentor Graphics PCB layout tools a plus

·         Familiarity with Mentor Graphics EDM a plus

·         Familiarity with SAP tools a plus

·         BSEE or equivalent experience
