Job Description:
Position Overview: The Lab Diagnostics Key Account Executive is a field-based sales position responsible for prospecting new business only in Academic Medical Centers and larger IDNs for key market areas assigned by the Area Vice President. Focus will be on overall revenue growth for Siemens central lab product lines inclusive of chemistry, immunoassay, hematology, urinalysis. Responsibilities: The specific role is to develop and nurture C-suite relationships to secure new business contract commitments in the central lab product groups. It will be imperative to drive teamwork with the Siemens Healthineers Strategic Corporate Accounts organization, sales, technical and service organizations as well as develop strategy and implement tactics to achieve sales goals. This position will report directly to the respective Lab Diagnostics Area Vice President.
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:
Education: BS/BA in related discipline, or advanced degree, where required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge and Experience: 8-10+ years of experience in clinical diagnostic sales, corporate accounts, or hospital purchasing organizations; strategic thinking, negotiating skills, problem solving skills, managing without authority, presentation skills, and financial acumen are key attributes for this role.
