Job Description:

The governance team at Siemens Mobility, Inc., Rolling Stock provides services internal to the organization that includes a multitude of business administration activities. Externally we interface with a variety of business organizations, chambers of commerce and perform outreach activities to link businesses with our procurement team. The intern will support the Director of Business Governance & Risk Management and the team in their day to day activities. The intern will gain valuable insights in a variety of functions such as Governance, Business Administration and Manufacturing. While there is an emphasis on administration of internal programs there is an external component as it relates to business outreach. . The intern will also support and may participate in activities externally with chambers of commerce and advocacy groups as part of business outreach activities. A flexible schedule is preferred to meet deadlines as required and to support a variety of events and workshops both internally and externally.


The position requires knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office Word and Excel.


Candidate must take initiative, update and complete delegated tasks to ensure progress to meet deadlines, and have good communication skills, organization skills, and be attentive to detail.


Position will gain exposure to various aspects of business and program administration activities including reporting and support of key project and business initiatives. 


Great opportunity for someone with school concentration in Business to learn how to apply analytical skills and exposure to various types of reporting including variance analysis and tracking trends as well as a broad range of business topics.




Senior working towards a technical or business related Bachelor’s or Master’s degree


Total Weekly Hours: 40 hours
