The TIA Sales Manager position in Mid-Atlantic area (NC/SC/VA) is responsible for sales of Siemens products and services from primarily the Digital Factory (DF) division but also includes products from, Energy Management (EM), and Process Industries and Drives (PD) Divisions to the Industrial OEM and End User markets across the area.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Designs overall operational objectives and work plans for direct and/or

channel sales, and delegate assignments to subordinate staff. Develops strategy for retention of account base and

development of new accounts. Designs and leads sales strategy to penetrate accounts. Plans and manages the overall operation of the unit and collaborates with sales channels to ensure achievement of goals and objectives. Meets or exceeds stated sales goals for the business. Prepares growth forecasts for sales area and/or sales channels to ensure the highest level of service. Recruits, trains, and directs sales efforts of sales support engineers and account representatives. Demonstrates and applies advanced knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures for area managed and good knowledge of other areas in the company and how they interact. Demonstrates full understanding and application of management approaches for work direction, motivation, and performance management.

 

Typically 10+ years of successful experience in a directly related field and successful demonstration of Key

Education

BS/BA in related discipline or advanced degree, where required.
