Job Description:
Siemens Mobility. Inc., is looking for an Intern to work in our Locomotives department in Sacramento, CA.
The incumbent will have an opportunity to work with Project Managers on our Locomotive projects across several states and also international with our Headquarters in Germany and Austria. This includes autonomously working with our project team on small work packages in the project. The incumbent will attend internal and external meetings for the projects, work with our Project Managers and Engineers in the US and Europe on customer correspondence, documentation, Locomotive production, delivery as well as on design and engineering topics. This is a great opportunity.
We are looking for someone that can work autonomously, is at least a Junior preferable with a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering background and dedication. Working knowledge of Microsoft office programs is required. SharePoint knowledge and previous project management skills are a plus. The hours are 25+ hours per week for 6 months with possible extensions. This position will pay $16.00 per hour.
