We are looking for someone who is part strategist, part adviser, part champion, part portfolio manager, and part engineering manager to provide business, portfolio management & engineering leadership for digital enterprise and IoT solutions.
A driven, entrepreneurial leader is needed to create this new cross business unit team. This is a chance to shape a new business segment and craft the digital services and solutions that will best drive customer success. This role has P&L responsibility supporting the company’s future growth and is an opportunity to impact the customer experience around digital enterprise solutions and services.

•Develop, drive and execute a comprehensive business and go-to-market strategy to identify and target the customers that can best benefit from our service offerings, including Digital Transformation Consulting, System Integration, and Digital services.
•Achieve business financial targets and goals (P&L)
•Provide technical and strategic leadership to quickly transition innovative concepts and ideas into commercial realization
•Build, lead, and mentor a team of technical consultants and project engineers to inspire our customers to transform their manufacturing with the next generation of technology.
•Inspire our customers to use new innovative approaches, tailor these approaches to their requirements and become their trusted partner through the digitalization journey.
•Initiate and maintain active engagement with customers as they build their digital enterprise plans.
•Drive the creation of a robust sales pipeline that efficiently identifies, qualifies and converts leads to orders.
•Partner, collaborate and ensure alignment with the wider Digital Factory businesses to bring the Digital Enterprise solutions to our customers.
Required Skills, Abilities and Experience
•8+ years of experience in business development with technical/engineering products and solutions for a variety of industrial markets and manufacturers.
•Proven track record of business P&L responsibility preferably in the consulting, software or hardware integration areas.
•Knowledge and experience in advanced manufacturing technology, including manufacturing automation systems, manufacturing execution systems (MES), digital and big data (e.g., Smart Factory, IoT, Industry 4.0, additive manufacturing, artificial intelligence).
•A track record of innovation and the ability to move organizations strategically to take advantage of changing market opportunities/challenges and to anticipate and react to competitive pressures.
•Ability to work and lead in a start-up type environment.
•Experience working with external or internal customers to close complex sales deals and implement large-scale solutions.
•Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability and personal style to inspire confidence and work successfully with varied audiences (customers, sales, marketing, business leaders, consultants, engineers).
•Resilient and positive attitude.
•Engineering degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or other related technical areas; advanced degree a plus.
