Job Description:

 

Position Overview

The Inspector Final Product position is responsible for performing final inspection duties on products such as Motor Control Centers and Enclosed products manufactured in Wendell. This is a Final Inspection position on the Unit Line.

Responsibilities

  • The successful candidate will:

  • Perform final inspection (electro-mechanical) duties on units for Motor Control Centers and Enclosed products.

  • Inspect each product to company Quality Standards and given guidelines.

  • Conduct non destructive test on equipment to given specifications and drawings.

  • Troubles shoot equipment failure and to provide corrective action.

  • Prepare and maintain inspection and quality reports.

  • Work with Engineering and Wirers in a professional manner during test and or reporting of Workmanship of product.

  • Work to #1 rule in Safety to self, others and equipment.

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

  • Strong Analytical skills to perform point to point or sequence of operation checks.

  • Must have functional knowledge and or worked on various Controllers such as, VFD, RVSS, RVAT, FVNR, FVR, Multi-speed motors and PLC.

  • Must have working experience up to 3 phase, 4 wire, 600VAC and up to 600VDC Supply Voltages.

  • Experience working with various test equipment and have knowledge to conduct Hi-pot tests safely.

  • Clean Safety record from previous and current employment and must have the ability to work in a Team environment.

  • Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.

  • Associate degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

  • Associate or Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred.

  • Must have a minimum of 3 years of prior work experience in Test & Troubleshooting on similar electrical equipment
