Job Description:

 Presales Solutions Consultant IV– PLM Software


Nurture trusted advisor and credible consultant relationship with


Oversee and guide the selection of appropriate suites of technology

Gather high level customer business and technical requirements

Provides client guidance and mentoring on the capabilities and business

value of Siemen portfolio.

Document client information technology infrastructure and determine

customer’s business needs

Lead the development and delivery of presentations, demonstrations,

proposals and reviews


Develop a strong high-level knowledge of the entire digital enterprise


Manage customer technical queries and coordinate the resources that


Support account managers and Sales Executives in sales efforts

Setup and coordinate regular client technical and management review


Lead response to client requests for information (RFI, RFP, RFQ,

etc. ) Proposals (RFPs). Proof of Concepts, Pilot Projects

document and share results of client meetings and subsequent agreements


Minimum Requirements:


• Must have at least 10+ years of technical support experience in PLM/ALM space

• Bachelor’s or Masters in Computer Science or Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related discipline.   

  • Must currently reside in WA, OR, CA, AZ CO (West Coast states) or IL, MO,

    OH, MN, IN (Midwest states).

    • Must be open to an average of 25% travel, almost exclusively domestic

    Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

    • Knowledge and Experience of Design and manufacturing methods and processes in

    Consumer Goods/Electronics/Medical Device or Semiconductor a Plus

    • 2 + years of successful expertise in digital enterprise space.

    • Experience as a consultant or worked in the domain of PLM/ALM space

    • Recent experience applying knowledge (product, industry,

    professional, technical) while doing individual contributor work.

    • Proven record of ability to present business value in front of groups

    while incorporating selling techniques.

    * Knowledge of Product Development, Phase Gate Project Management, Configuration Management, Engineering Change processes, Quality systems processes (DFMEA, PFMEA, CAPA, etc.), Manufacturing Process Planning, CMII change management, Simulation Process Data Management a plus

    * Knowledge of any top PLM/ALM software.
