Job Description:

Duties and Responsibilities:  Drive the Fiscal Planning & Reporting processes for the Americas Marketing Execution Team

 

  • Align Americas marketing budget to support the annual operating plan of the marketing regions and sales territories.

  • Ongoing and regular fiscal planning of Americas marketing expense and program budget.

  • Regular reviews with field marketing leadership for fiscal forecasting and reporting of Americas marketing spend by cost center, country, program, tactic, campaign and sales channel.

  • Liaising with Americas finance and the Global Marketing Budget Operations & Management lead to ensure that company systems (SAP, Hyperion, Dynasite etc.) accurately reflect marketing spend forecasts and expenditure. Marketing Analytics

  • Generate reports on marketing expenditure including cost per lead, cost per campaign and return on marketing investment by program. Team with Data, Analytics and Automation to conduct and report ROI analysis.

  • Work closely with peers from the Data, Analytics and Automation team to build and utilize salesforce.com dashboards to forecast, track and manage marketing campaign performance against key pipeline metrics.

  • Maintaining consistency with globally standardized reports developed in consultation with the global marketing operations team.

  • Working with the Americas marketing team to drive behavior aligning to corporate guidelines and reporting policies and to ensure accuracy of data.   Communicating and reviewing the zone marketing spend and ROI to marketing leadership, field marketing managers, corporate marketing teams, corporate finance teams, product portfolio managers, and field marketing peers in the other global regions.

  • Supporting the annual marketing planning process.



Skills and abilities required:  This position requires an individual who has both marketing planning and execution knowledge with strong project management, analytical, and communication skills. Ability and willingness to work through, develop and consult on complex globally standardized processes as well as enthusiasm to deliver the best possible return on marketing investment while supporting the marketing team is essential. 


The minimum requirements for this role are as follows: 

  • BA or BS Degree (Marketing or Business Management preferred)

  • 5+ years proven marketing experience in the software industry, preferably with a concentration in marketing operations and budget management

  • Strong project management and analytical skills

  • A team player that is collaborative and flexible

  • Exacting attention to detail

  • Ability to work and deliver on team deadlines with high quality work

  • Strong systems skills including SFDC, SAP and Excel

  • Ability to collect input from various peers at different management levels and decide optimal plan

  • ~10%-15% travel will be required
