Position Overview

The Financial Analyst 4 will be a key contributor to the CX Performance Controlling group.   The role reports to the Sr. Director, Finance (Performance Controlling) and calls for participation in all facets of the functions of the group closing activities, financial reporting, KPI analysis, budget/forecast, and ad hoc projects and reports. 



   Perform critical trend analyses during monthly close process

   Creation of reports and graphs detailing various KPI's, including Regional Reports, MIS Reports and specific GPR-based reports as required

   Monthly analysis of gross profit drivers and operating expenses, and interaction with Business Areas to derive monthly closing commentary and variance drivers

   Alignment with colleagues in Germany in order to act as liaison for MTA and MBR processes, including schedules and templates and tools to be used therein

   Ability to analyze balance sheet data and participate in forecasting of key positions as needed

   Aggregation and loading of monthly forecast data to required systems (BW and ESPRIT)

   Act as key point of contact with Service side of business, gaining full understanding of business drivers therein

   Perform historical and/or trend analysis on key business components (volume, SG&A, cash flow, headcount, etc.)

   Perform ad hoc analysis and work on project teams as required


Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

The successful candidate will have a background with experience in budgeting/forecasting, monthly close activities, and various types of financial analysis (preferably 7-10 years).  Proficiency with Microsoft Excel is a must, and experience with SAP, Hyperion (HFM or Planning), and think-cell is desired; ability to effectively utilize Excel macros to gain efficiencies a plus.  Minimal travel (10%) may be required.
