Job Description:

We are designing the next generation of Siemens cloud products, and are looking for someone with a passionate customer focus, a strong sense of ownership and an ability to iterate quickly in an agile environment. If you are driven to deliver exceptional results through continuous improvement and have a “Customer First” attitude, we want you on our team.


We need an experienced UX Designer who wants to help us design our marketing websites and assets specifically for cloud products, both software-as-a-service applications and a platform-as-a-service. The UX designer should have deep knowledge and experience working with developers who depend on SaaS and PaaS. You will use your deep knowledge of UX best practices, combined with business requirements, user research and analysis.






  • Define interaction models, user task flows, wireframes and UI specifications

  • Create necessary UX deliverables

  • Communicate scenarios, end-to-end experiences, interaction models, and initial screen designs to stakeholders, and incorporate their feedback

  • Work with our UI designers or front-end developers to incorporate the visual identity of our products into customer interfacing services

  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs

  • Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end

  • Collaborate with business and IT decision makers to discuss user interface requirements and brainstorm UX ideas

  • Drive and own continuous advancements in user experience across the existing and newly created online buying journey

  • Expertise using HTML5, CSS3, XML, XSL, jQuery, JavaScript, and other common JavaScript frameworks and user experience skills

  • Avidly and consistently measure the effectiveness of the marketing websites and assets through a diligent user testing and feedback program.


Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience



  • Proficient with design and UX wireframe/prototyping software and working knowledge of design tools (e.g. Axure, Photoshop, Sketch, Illustrator, Fireworks, InVision)

  • Strong analytical skills and technical aptitude

  • Develops HTML/CSS/JS of user-facing features for online storefront as per design components.

  • Excellent communication skills with positive energy

  • Demonstrated leadership skills; ability to work independently with minimal supervision as part of a globally distributed team

  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines, product lines, roles and geographical and time zone boundaries

  • Excellent oral/written communication & listening skills will be necessary to present information, analysis & recommendations to all levels of employees, including management

  • High degree of organization to manage & maintain project plans, road maps & provide accurate updates as part of the review cycle

  • Bachelor’s degree in User Experience Design, Computer Science, Web Development, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design or a related field of study

  • minimum of 10 years experience as a user experience designer

  • minimum of 5 years experience working in the marketing, e-commerce or business industry

  • minimum of 10 years working experience

  • Relatable experience working with or designing for SaaS developers Qualified Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the Unites States. Qualified Applicants will not require employer sponsored work authorization now or in the future for employment in the United States.



Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience



  • Experience working in Agile teams

  • Strong understanding of customer usage models for e-commerce

  • UI design skills are a plus
