Job Description:

The Financial Analyst role 4 in Siemens Healthineers Diagnostics Finance – commercial team – will initiate, execute and evaluate effectiveness of planning, analysis and reporting activities for sales-related activities within the business area. 
Through best in class, data-driven analytics, this role will partner with other functions across the Diagnostics business for strategic and tactical decision making; support the generation of financial insights in the monthly/quarterly global results, with focus on revenue growth targets across key product lines. This role requires a strong ability to analyze data with quality in mind.
Specific responsibilities include:
  • Develop and evolve monthly, quarterly presentations to senior executives on status of business unit objective attainment and key recommendations for the core lab product lines, including Atellica Solution 
  • Develop a holistic view of the revenue performance for the core lab product lines and specific new products, integrating actuals, forecast, inventory levels, among others
  • Using data-driven decision making process, align organization and collaborate with stakeholders to implement targeted performance improvement. 
  • Evaluate and approve deals that include core lab product lines, through a harmonized set of KPIs for revenue, profitability and pricing.
  • Develop management reporting to monitor performance for core lab product lines in new deals
  • Develop structured review process for complex deals during execution
  • Develop target setting approach for new products in the core lab space
  • Conceptualize and execute complex analytics for various topics to support and drive business decision making
  • Support finance leadership in integrating into BU community and culture
Capabilities Required for the Position:
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business; MBA or equivalent
  • Candidates typically have 4-8 years of progressive analytical experience 
  • Proficient Business knowledge and knowledge of the organizational structure, the reporting structure & process and the revenue forecast process
  • Ability to analyze data coming from multiple sources and organize with quality, review with attention to detail are main requirements for the position
  • Ability to distill business processes and results into actionable information for senior leadership; strong presentation skills
  • Expert Excel and PowerPoint capabilities
  • VBA proficiency preferred
  • Ability to prioritize activities to comply with various tasks and due dates is a  key requirement
  • Good communication and networking skills, result and quality orientation as well as a pro-active attitude.

Position reports directly to the Director, Diagnostics Finance commercial team and is based in Tarrytown, NY USA.
Direction of Others:
This role is an individual contributor role.
