Summer Intern - Software Developer (Python/Django)
Join Siemens Corporate Technology located at Princeton, NJ, for a Summer internship starting in May/June 2019! In this role you will work in the Cyber Threat Intelligence team to develop new features and automations for the web portal and other services that are part of the team’s toolchain.
Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) is the “contextualized output of a strategically-driven process of collection and analysis of information pertaining to the identities, goals, motivations, tools and tactics of malicious entities intending to harm or undermine a targeted organization’s operations, information assets, systems, applications, or the information flowing through them”. In other words, CTI is information about the bad guys that can be used by the good guys to defend themselves and their organizations.
During this internship you will discover how this information can be used to defend against real world threats, from script kiddies to nation-state sponsored attackers. Additionally, you will experience the excitement and challenges of industrial research and be part of a world class team. An internship with Siemens Corporate Technology is a great opportunity for students to gain real world experience in a diverse work environment.
