Position Overview

 

The IT Systems Specialist position will provide installation, maintenance, and support services for all hardware, software, and communications for the customers entire enterprise network.  

 
Responsibilities
  • Maintain computer equipment and software to ensure secure and efficient operations

  • Setup and repair computer systems hardware and perform routine maintenance as required

  • Assist in the installation, configuration, and testing for the ongoing usability of system hardware, software, and network components

  • Provide technical support and resolution in troubleshooting hardware and software issues onsite, remotely, and/or via phone

 

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

  • Associates Degree in the Information Technology field or 3+ years’ experience in computer networks and systems maintenance
  • Microsoft office, Apogee and Andover Controls application highly perferred
  • Understanding of IT principles and an ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to a varied audience
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage stress effectively in high-pressure situations
  • Strong sense of discretion and confidentiality required
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment
  • Ability to work overtime as required
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written)
 
 

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field required

  • Industry certifications and memberships a plus

  • Excellent IT, communication, leadership and management skills
