Position Overview:

The Service Sales Manager will lead, manage, and develop a team of service sales professionals

focused on helping our end-user customers stay up-to-date with our cutting-edge technologies and help them manage their energy spend in Washington State.  Located in the Seattle market, the Service Sales Manager will report to the Branch General Manager.

 
Responsibilities:

•With a strong knowledge in strategic sales, develops and lead a team of sales professionals to be strategic, innovative thinkers developing long-term technology plans for our customers

•Continuously evaluates changing market opportunities and develops strategies to maximize impact to SBT (Siemens Building Technologies) across our various divisions 
•Develops and implements a sales and marketing plan to drive customer awareness and growth strategies to meet business objectives

•Actively participates in senior-level selling on large / strategic projects as well as maintains senior-level relationships

•Embraces and leads an ownership culture

•Actively seeks out and leverages resources (tools, best practices, subject matter experts) within the company to drive new offerings and innovation

•Understands Siemens Building Technologies’ suite of products, applications, and services and acts as a resource to the sales team

•Reviews proposals and estimates to ensure accuracy, company standards, and professional quality to meet company and customer objectives 

•Develops sales forecasts and provides input to budget

•Maintains trade contacts and actively participates in functions in industry associations in accordance with company policy  

 

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:

•Bachelor’s Degree with emphasis on engineering, management, or IT preferred, although a combination of education and directly related work experience will also be

considered. (Minimum education is a high school diploma, state-recognized GED, or state-recognized high school proficiency exam)
•Technical proficiency in IT, Building Technologies, and other related components

•Five years of controls, technology, or construction-related experience required

•Individual must possess a valid Driver’s license in good standing

• Individual must be at least 21 years of age in order to participate in the required Siemens vehicle plan.

•Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English required

 

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:
•Preferred education: Master’s Degree

•Demonstrated success selling technology solutions

.

• Strong knowledge of service- and ROI-related offerings with ability to develop and implement a local sales strategy to achieve growth objectives

• Demonstrable understanding of how to market, position, and sell cloud-based data-driven service programs, such as fault detection and diagnostics, to existing and new customers.
