Position Overview:


As a Senior Planner you will develop quotes for new business, prepare master planning schedules and produce production planning schedules for all areas of the business to meet client requirements.  Responsible to present plans and schedules to management and/or clients and to execute to the plans and schedules to ensure Ontime delivery requirements are met.

Impact on annual shipments of $120 million and Inventory of $60 Million




-Work with clients and management to quote large assembly jobs and/or parts orders

-Develop master planning schedules (MPS) for the facility to meet client and financial requirements.

-Develop and maintain load measures for key assets

-Ensure timely flow of materials from manufacturing and suppliers to meet MPS. 

-Take actions as required to meet MPS and customer commitments

-Issues schedules to define work requirements to specific areas.

-Develops and creates a means to smoothly process work in manufacturing including offloading to suppliers to manage shop load.

-Train and develop skill sets of other team members

-Ensure effective cooperation with all stakeholders; clarifies organizational issues


Required Skills:

  • Bachelor Degree of Science
  • 8 years of planning and scheduling experience within an industrial environment
  • 3-5years of experience within Planning experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Power Point, Word)
  • Strong communication skills at all levels
  • Travel up to 10% domestic

 Preferred Skills

- APICS Certification

- Oracle familiarity
