Job Description:


The Onshore Business Controlling function for Siemens Gamesa North America (NAM) is responsible for consolidating, analyzing, and reporting on the financial business and performance of Onshore Wind Power.

 
Position Overview
 

We are looking for a dynamic, proactive, and highly motivated professional to support the financial reporting and controlling of the North American business. The North American business is expansive and diverse, and this position provides the opportunity to engage in a complex set of financial topics as well as gain an understanding of the business operations with a focus on the P&L.

 

Prepare and communicate with management and other internal customers on presentations and other reporting matters as required

Required Skills and Competencies:

  • Minimum of 7 to 10+ years related experience in various financial reporting functions
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or other applicable field (or equivalent experience)
  • Qualified Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States. Qualified Applicants will not require employer sponsored work authorization now or in the future for employment in the United States. 
  • Strong financial management, analysis, reporting and controlling skills
  • Creative and independent thinker with the ability to interact with all levels of management and departments within the organization while taking a hands-on approach to problem solving
  • Must be able to effectively prioritize, manage deadlines, and multi-task
  • Advanced proficiency in MS office (including Think-Cell)
  • Knowledge of SAP (FI/CO and Master Data)
  • Adaptability and flexibility to manage changing demands and handle time pressure
  • Knowledge and understanding of business, operational, and organizational acumen
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with various global and legal entity management and staff
