The objective of the Order Mgmt Deliver Operator role is to be the primary source for pulling parts out of inventory to fulfill orders taken by Spare Parts Order Management Group within the PD/PA/AP division. Candidate will receive delivery tickets that show which parts need to be pulled, where the parts are located within the facility, and which jobs those parts are associated with. Parts and paperwork are then packaged together and moved to next destination; which is the shipping department. This position has a great impact on our company’s financial outcome, our company’s delivery reliability targets, and a great impact on serving our customer needs.
The candidate will need to be able to keep up with high volume of orders that need to be filled daily. Those order fulfillments will need to be done in an accurate and timely manner. Candidate will need to be able to meet delivery deadlines. Candidate will also be responsible for return orders, along with return parts associated with warranty orders.
Candidate will be responsible for restocking parts in the Customer Service store location 1020 within our Houston Warehouse. That responsibility will include ensuring inventory stock levels are accurate to our SAP system. Candidate will also be involved in any inventory audits that are performed.
Candidate will communicate order status occasionally, when requested, by email and phone. Candidate will work with internal customers such as Order Management Team, Shipping and Receiving Department, Logistics, Quality Department, Service Technicians, CGA Lab Technicians, and Material Schedulers. Candidate will also service as a liaison between the CGA Repair Lab and the Shipping Department.
Candidate is responsible for ensuring all Spare Parts Orders are pulled from stock, processed, and shipped. Candidate is responsible for keeping accurate inventory count in their specific location.
Most importantly candidate will ensure Spare Parts Orders are shipped in a timely manner to meet the jobs scheduled ship dates.
Job tasks include:
Pulling spare parts from inventory
Preparing spare parts orders to take to shipping
Maintaining accurate inventory
Receiving parts returns
Participate in Inventory audits
Transferring of defective parts to Quality team
Entering text information into SAP
Ensuring spare parts orders are shipped in a timely manner
Logistics responsibilities for CGA Lab
Occasionally after-hours emergency part shipments
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Inventory management experience preferred but not required.
Knowledge and Skills required:
Able to lift up to 20lbs
Able to stand 80% of the day
Able to walk 20% of the day to retrieve parts from different areas of the facility
Attention to Detail
Able to meet deadlines
Good Communication Skills
SAP knowledge (preferred but not required)
Microsoft office (preferred but not required)
